Using the BatteryIQ app
1. On first launch, the app may ask for permission to use Bluetooth and Location. Location is part of Bluetooth so this is required. Bluetooth is needed to read the safety status of nearby batteries.
2. Once you’ve given the app permissions, it will scan for nearby BatteryIQ batteries, and these will be shown in a list.
3. Click on a battery to see its safety status. The top box will contain a note on status – either that the battery is safe, or what actions you should take.
You can also browse other data about your battery, such as temperature, cell voltages, etc.
